Back in 1488, Bartolomeu Diaz was rounding the Cape of Good Hope with his carabels, opening a new route to Asia and a new era in history of humankind. Twenty two years later he got drowned in these very waters during his second attempt to round the cape. Five centuries later people photograph it.
